2. Data We Collect

This website is a static informational site. We do not operate user accounts, login systems, or forms that collect personal data directly. The data we process is limited to:

• Analytics data — collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4), only with your consent (see Section 4).
• Server logs — AWS CloudFront may log IP addresses, request URLs, and user agent strings for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.

3. Cookies

This website uses cookies only when you consent to analytics tracking:

• cookie_consent — stores your cookie consent preference (accepted or declined). Stored in localStorage. No expiration until cleared.
• _ga, _ga_* — set by Google Analytics 4 when consent is granted. Used to distinguish users and sessions. Expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively.

If you decline cookies, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-HWRRS4GEZ2) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Referral source
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP)

IP addresses are anonymized by Google. Data is processed by Google LLC in the United States under their Privacy Policy. We have no access to personally identifiable information through GA4.

Data retention: Analytics data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted.

5. Data Transfers

Google Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the legal basis for data transfers outside Switzerland/EEA.

6. Legal Basis

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP, in force since 1 September 2023):

• Analytics: Based on your consent (cookie banner). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or declining when the banner reappears.
• Server logs: Based on our legitimate interest in maintaining website security and availability.

7. Your Rights

Under the Swiss nFADP, you have the right to:

• Request information about whether and what personal data we process about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to data processing
• Request data portability

8. Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts — loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address. See Google Fonts Privacy.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
